Unveiling Maserati MC20 advanced

Maserati’s launch for his electric era would be fired this spring, but given the current emergency, that has moved.

The electrified sports car was unveiled for May. However, given the corona crisis, the Italian sports brand now sees no other way out than to move this date to after the summer. A new invitation states that everyone is still very welcome in Modena in September. That place has been Maserati’s home base for 80 years.

The MC20 becomes the new electrified Maserati. It is not yet clear whether it is “only” a plug-in hybrid or whether there will also be a fully electric variant. Maserati then comes shortly with an electrified Ghibli and the GranTurismo and GranCabrio will have all-electric successors. At the moment, however, little happens in the factories of the sports brand, because the fact that all factories are shut down.
