You can hardly avoid making a QR code with the CoronaCheck app. If you go on a trip, grab a restaurant or visit the cinema once, you need the QR code and proof of identity.

Do you have the QR code? Then you will see the options ‘Netherlands’ and ‘International’ at the top of the screen under ‘My proofs’. Are you going abroad? Then you need the international QR code. Tap “International” at the top, then tap “View QR” to create an international proof.
Can’t make a QR code in the CoronaCheck app?
It may happen that you are unable to create a qr code in CoronaCheck, even using the video. Sometimes it’s too busy, or the app just won’t cooperate. All you can do in that case is try again later. Or you can make a QR code without a smartphone, of course.

Even without a smartphone: make a QR code
You do not necessarily need a smartphone to make a corona ticket. Via the website of CoronaCheck can you make a qr code on pdf and then print it. You must therefore show this version at the entrance of an event, restaurant or cinema (in combination with your proof of identity). You will also receive a QR code for within the Netherlands and a code for international use.
