Volkswagen Arteon: delivery range almost completely stripped down

Actually no choice

Volkswagen Arteon: delivery range almost completely stripped down

Are you charmed by the Volkswagen Arteon and are you considering buying a brand new one? Then from now on there is actually nothing left to choose from. The Volkswagen Arteon is only available in one body variant, with one engine and in one version.

The Arteon succeeded the Volkswagen CC in 2017, the sleeker alternative to the Passat that started life as a Passat CC. Over the years, the Volkswagen Arteon has been available in many flavors and even in two versions. The Arteon range was expanded in 2020 with a real Arteon Shooting Brake. The sporty R versions never came to the Netherlands, but the Volkswagen Arteon was available here with a variety of powertrains. There were 1.5 and 2.0 TSIs and 2.0 TDIs in different power variants and even plug-in hybrid machines. A lot of that is now gone.

The Volkswagen Arteon is only available as an Arteon Shooting Brake and in combination with only one engine version and one version. The only powertrain that Volkswagen still offers for the Arteon Shooting Brake in the Netherlands is the 190 hp 2.0 TSI petrol engine with DSG7 automatic transmission. The only version that has not been crossed out is called R-Line Business. The Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake 2.0 TSI R-Line Business – quite a mouthful – has a price tag of €63,990.

Volkswagen does offer a choice of seven colors, six different alloy wheels and a number of option packages.
