The Volkswagen ID Buzz is about to be unveiled, but not before Volkswagen once again shows its best side in terms of teasing. We get to see a part of the interior of the fully electric retrobus.

Entirely in line with good Volkswagen custom, the Volkswagen ID Buzz has already been brought to the attention in numerous ways before the actual unveiling takes place. We don’t have to wait long, next Wednesday the curtain will finally be lifted. One last time Volkswagen highlights a detail before that and presents us with some images of the interior of the ID Buzz.

Especially in the photo above you can clearly see what the MPV-like interior of the Volkswagen ID Buzz looks like. The people version (there will also be order versions that go through life as ID Buzz Cargo) has two captain seats in the front and a three-seater bench seat in the second row, of which the outer two seats, like the front seats, have a contrasting colored seat and back. Undoubtedly, this depends on the chosen version, so don’t be surprised if cheaper versions come with seats in one color.

In any case, there seems to be plenty of room for both the front seats and the second row, thanks in large part to the flat floor due to the electric powertrain. Volkswagen talks about 1,121 liters of luggage space in the back and ‘more than 3.9 cubic meters’ of cargo space for the ID Buzz Cargo. A third row of seats, which makes the ID Buzz a seven-seater, will also be added later.

We also see some nice details. For example, there is ‘ID’ on the front seats and the ID Buzz is ‘signed’ on the sides of the sofa behind it in small. This schematic representation of the ID Buzz is also found elsewhere in the interior, as does a friendly winking smiley. We don’t get to see the dashboard of the ID Buzz yet, but you can count on it that this will be a minimalistic cockpit that is strongly reminiscent of that of the Volkswagen ID3 and ID4.

As mentioned, Wednesday will be the curtain of the electric ID Buzz, which in terms of exterior design gives a significant nod to the iconic T1 and T2.
