Volkswagen announces the first asking prices for the renewed Arteon. As a result, we also know what price is written on the price tag of the first Arteon Shooting Brake.
Volkswagen showed the radically renewed Arteon earlier this year. Where it was fine-tuned here and there on a cosmetic level, the biggest news was actually in the body variants. Until the facelift, Volkswagen only released a sporty-lined liftback from the Arteon. After the facelift, the Shooting Brake was added.
Initially, Volkswagen will only announce the prices for the Arteon R Line Business +. This one operates at the top of the trim level ladder as one of the most luxurious choices. The basic price is therefore not wrong with € 48,950. The Arteon is then powered by a 2.0 TSI with 190 hp to which a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission is linked. The Volkswagen thus achieves a top speed of 237 km / h. A sprint from 0 to 100 km / h takes 7.9 seconds. In addition to the sportier R Line package, standard equipment includes LED plus headlights, all-round parking sensors and the large central screen for multimedia. It can always be more exuberant, of course. For example, a nappa / carbon leather upholstery with sports seats and a panoramic sliding-tilting roof are still on the option list for no less than € 1,572 and € 1,130.
The Arteon Shooting Brake is currently only available in the same version. The price difference between the ‘normal’ Arteon and this new Shooting Brake appears to be small, because it is already available from € 49,491. The price list will probably be expanded quickly with the prices for the other versions.
