Waze has again given the iPhone app an update and added these functions-we introduce the most important new features to you.
Waze has received these new functions
The Waze app regularly receives an update in which new features sometimes appear in the app on your iPhone. That is also the case this time. These new functions are automatically added to the app after you have updated Waze via the App store.
New camera types
One of the new functions of Waze is new camera types. They help you to drive consciously and adapt to what will be going on. Which camera types are available varies per region.
Waze warnings always come in any case, even when you suffer from a bad connection. You can also decide for which camera types you want to be warned. You can do that very easily in the settings:
- Open Waze and Tap at the top left of the menu button;
- Choose ‘Settings’;
- Tap ‘warnings and reports’ and then on ‘reports’;
- Tap ‘speed cameras’.
Share Detailed Insights
In the new version of Waze it is possible to share more specific updates with only one tap. This way you give all co -drivers in your immediate environment a clear picture of what is coming on the road.
Personalized routes suggestions
One of the new functions of Waze is that your usual route in the new version on the map marked with a heart. That helps you to choose the right route even more easily.
Always the optimized route
Waze shows you other route times in the new version, so that you can confirm that your current route is actually the fastest.
