Longer time to find your dream classic

Earlier this year, car enthusiasts worldwide were amazed by the huge and especially colorful collection of classics that ‘appeared’ in Dordrecht. The more than 230 cars are going under the hammer and the online auction has been extended due to enormous interest.
In April, Gallery Aaldering acquired a car collection that is as large as it is fantastic. The collection included cars from different eras, with different feathers and in different conditions, which caused itchy hands and complicated feelings in the gut of many (potential) car collectors. The viewing days are now over and the online auction of the enormous collection of historical automotive gems has been spread over four more manageable chunks. The auction of the first part was supposed to close yesterday, but Classic Car Auctions is extending the auction by one day.
Why? The extremely interesting car collection has attracted so much attention worldwide that the Classic Car Auctions website couldn’t handle digital traffic. The website got overloaded yesterday, so not everything worked as it should. The problem has now been resolved, but to give potential buyers enough time, the closing days have been moved forward by one day.
The first part of the auction now closes today at 8pm. The second part closes at the same time on Wednesday, June 7, and on Thursday, June 8, the opportunity belongs to something special the third part of the collection purchase to the past. A blue Lancia Aurelia 24B Spider America from 1955, with a highest bid of €435,000 at the time of writing, is the classic from the first part for which the most money has been bid.
