Adjusting a chat in WhatsApp is not entirely new, because it has been possible for some time to stick a background on a chat. But now WhatsApp goes a little further.
The makers behind the chat app say on their website That after an update it becomes possible to set the colors of chats yourself. You can then adjust the background even further, but it becomes possible to even give the chat bubbles a different color.
You can provide any chat with its own look. The appearance of canals can also be adjusted as desired. Handy to know: the appearance of the chat is only visible to you. People with whom you talk in the chat do not see how you have adjusted a chat.
That is not all, because WhatsApp also comes with a number of new backgrounds. You can then choose from 30 new background options. But it is of course also possible to use your own photo.
Adjust whatsapp chat themes
To adjust the theme of your chats in WhatsApp, follow the steps below.
- Open WhatsApp;
- Go to ‘Settings> Chats> Standard Chatthema’;
- If you want to adjust each chat separately, click on the chat name at the top of the chat screen.
More new functions of WhatsApp
WhatsApp has indicated that the functions are now being rolled out. In the coming weeks they will be available for everyone for iOS and Android.
