These are the most important announcements that Apple makes during the WWDC 2025:

1. IOS 19

This is without a doubt one of the most important announcements. iOS 19 will look different from the version we know now. It probably looks more like Visionos. It is even expected that Apple iOS 19, iPados 19 and MacOS 16 will give a Visionos-like look and feel this year. We know nothing about the details yet, but we expect more shiny and reflective interfaces, backgrounds and buttons in the coming years.

2. MacOS-like iPados 19

According to Majin Bu, iPados 19 takes over a few things from macOS when it is connected to a Magic keyboard. This way the upper menu bar would be displayed. In addition, Apple is about to introduce Stage Manager 2.0, an improved multitasking mode that is also automatically activated when the keyboard is connected. This helps managing apps and windows if all goes well.

3. Scroll with your eyes in Visionos 3

Apple is said to work on a function for the Vision Pro Headset with which you can scroll through the software with your eyes. An interesting function, especially when Apple finds a way to bring them to other devices. How it works exactly is still unclear. Anyway, it is one of the announcements that you can expect during the WWDC 2025.

4. Project Mulberry

This is one of the announcements that we only expect in iOS 19.4 for the general public, so that will take a while. It is a AI-based health coach. This will use the health and biometric data collected by Apple devices. You will then receive personal recommendations about how you can improve your health.

The bad news is that this may be presented as a new subscription service. Nevertheless, this project could have a lot of impact.

5. Access to Apple Intelligence models

We expect that Apple will announce during this year’s WWDC that it will open its AI models to external developers. This means that developers can benefit from the benefits of AI processing on the device, without having to integrate a full LLM or other AI model into their app. In practice, this can ensure that AI functions for images, text, video and audio are applied on a large scale in apps that would otherwise not be possible.
