You can spend the night in your Dacia Jogger

In January, Dacia added the Spring Extreme to its delivery range. The new Extreme trim is more fully equipped than any other Spring, but more interesting was its powertrain. As an Extreme, the electric Dacia Spring is not 45 hp powerful like the Essential version, but with 65 hp it is just 45 percent more powerful. The Extreme designation was not new within the Dacia range. For example, the Jogger was already available in the Netherlands in an eponymous version, although that was a special and therefore temporarily available introduction version. Dacia is now replacing that temporary Extreme version for a permanent one and the Sandero Stepway and Duster are also getting a similar taste.

The Sandero Stepway, Jogger and Duster in Extreme trim come in Cedar Green, get a gloss black shark fin antenna and the roof rails have the model name written out in copper letters. The copper color is also reflected on the side mirror caps, on the center caps of the special black alloy wheels and the brand name written on the tailgate is also in some Dacia Copper Brown calls performed. More optical decoration comes in the form of topographical lines on the trim pieces at the bottom of the doors and on the front of the front doors. With the Duster you can only see this pattern in the front screens and in the B-pillar. The Sandero Stepway and Jogger also get copper-coloured accents above the fog lamps in the front bumper.

In the interior fits Dacia new MicroCloud so-called gray-colored coating. We find it not only on the seats, but also on the dashboard (with the exception of Duster) and the door panels. According to Dacia, MicroCloud upholstery is easy to clean, wear-resistant but still feels soft. The Extreme flavors get rubber floor mats in the front and rear, various copper-colored accents and door sills with the cheerful ‘topographic’ lines. Is there more? Certainly. For example, the Dacia Sandero Extreme and Jogger Extreme get Extended Grip as standard. At the touch of a button, the ESC system is adjusted so that you can get out of your place better on slippery surfaces.

Dacia immediately introduces a new one InNature called accessory line for the Jogger of which it now highlights the Sleep Pack. With the Sleep Pack you can transform the interior of the Jogger into a real bedroom. Do you have a seven-seater Jogger? Then you have to remove the rear two copies from the car before you can transform the place into a sleeping area. The package consists of a double bed, a shelf and a wooden storage space with a capacity of 220 litres. The foldable unit weighs less than 50 kilograms and, when folded, can be completely concealed under the luggage compartment cover. Dacia also has a tent that can be attached to the rear of the Jogger on the delivery list.

The Dutch importer tells AutoWeek that the Extreme versions will also come to the Netherlands and that the Sleep Pack will also be available in our country. More information regarding the Dutch market will follow later.
