Your iPhone has many hidden functions that you probably don’t know about yet. One of those features probably has to do with the line at the bottom of your iPhone’s screen. This line is not always shown on the display, but appears at certain times. As soon as you open an application on your iPhone, the line appears at the bottom of the screen. This line is white or black depending on the background color.

Have you never noticed the line before? That is not surprising, because Apple has tried to keep the line as subtle as possible. Still, the line at the bottom of your iPhone’s screen has a function that makes it much easier to switch between apps. By swiping over the line you go directly to the application you last used. Function cannot be disabled

Are you opening an app on your iPhone or iPad? The line will then automatically appear on the screen. By swiping the line to the left (too swipe) you go back to the application you last used. Do you still want to open the other app again? Then swipe to the right over the line, the application you used most recently will open again.
