Zagato presents IsoRivolta GTZ

Coachbuilder Zagato has digitally removed the canvas of the IsoRivolta GTZ, a classically lined coupé with an eight-cylinder beast in its lengthy muzzle.

Design house Zagato shows the first digital drawings of the IsoRivolta GTZ, a coupé laced with classic design with a beast of an eight-cylinder under the hood. With its special composition, the coupé, to be unveiled in its entirety in October, broadly follows the concept of the car on which it was inspired.

With the IsoRivolta GTZ, Zagato pays homage to the Iso Grifo A3 / C from 1963, a coupé based on the then current Chevrolet Corvette with Italian-hand drawn carriage. At the time, none other than Giorgetto Giugiaro (Bertone) was responsible for the lines, but this time it is Zagato who has been allowed to use his pencils. Under the skin, this fine tribute is also a Corvette. A Corvette Z06 of the previous generation hides under the coach made of carbon fiber, which means that the coupé is powered by a 6.8-liter V8, on which a supercharger is also screwed. In October Zagato will present the 4.62 meter long IsoRivolta GTZ in its entirety to the world. Zagato will only build nineteen copies, nine of which have already been awarded.
