Zyrus LP1200 Strada is a 1,200 hp Lamborghini Huracán

Not satisfied with the 640 hp that puts the Lamborghini Huracán on the road in top form? No problem. Zyrus Engineering knows how to almost double the power of the V10!

Zyrus Engineering is a tuner we don’t hear much of. If the company has news, Zyrus will not be bothered about it. We are introduced to the Zyrus LP1200 Strada, a street-legal version of the Zyrus LP1200 R specially intended for the circuits that was launched two years ago (photos 4 to 8).

Zyrus 1200 R (racing version)

Zyrus Engineering follows the naming convention used by Lamborghini itself and that means that ‘1200’ in the model name indeed stands for the power that the heavily modified V10 in the Zyrus LP1200 Strada mobilizes thanks to two enormous turbos. However, not all of those 1200 horsepower can be released on public roads. Under normal circumstances, the 5.2 V10 delivers 900 hp, but with the push of a button the full power of 1,200 hp can be unleashed. For this you have to be on a circuit. Zyrus Engineering says it has replaced a total of 600 parts of the racing version. Unlike its racing brother, the body of the Zyrus LP1200 Strada is not entirely made of carbon fiber, yet the LP1200 Strada is no less than 78 kilos lighter than a regular Huracán. The heavy spoiler work is good for 2,010 kilos of downward pressure at a speed of 200 km / h. Fiercely. Just like the price tag, there is an amount of € 595,000 written on it.
