The BMW Isetta has never been as hip as it is now. After the Microlino there is now a retro Isetta with electric drive: the Evetta.

The Swiss Micro Mobility Systems delighted the world in 2020 with the arrival of the Microlino, a clearly Iso/BMW Isetta inspired little one with an electric powertrain. A trendy city car where you get in through a door at the front, just like with the Isetta. Apparently the concept appeals to quite a few people, because Microlino had already received 24,000 orders just after the sales start last year and indicated that it also wants to offer the Microlino in the Netherlands. Now, however, the Microlino gets competition from a car that approaches it quite similarly: the Evetta.

Like the Microlino, the Evetta, from the German company Electric Brands, is a clearly Isetta-inspired EV with a modest power source. The Evetta also achieves a top speed of 90 km/h and can travel up to 240 km with a full battery. The 2.48 meter short car has a slightly more classic appearance than the Microlino and there is another unique side to it: there will be an open version of it. That Openair christened Evetta normally has to do without a roof, but also without full doors and a full windscreen. There is, however, a removable roof and a normal windscreen.

Evetta

The Evetta Openair is the most expensive of the bunch: €33,333 (German price) should cost the Openair, the regular Evetta will be available from just under €20,000. The Evetta will also be available in the Netherlands through various existing car companies throughout the country.
