The iPhone 15 will soon be able to show the time in iOS 18, even if your iPhone’s battery is empty. But how does he do that?
iPhone 15 can show the time (even if the battery is empty)
The iPhone 15 gets another interesting function in iOS 18, because you can still read the time even when the battery is empty. Secretly, this is not a completely new feature, because even now your iPhone has limited functions even when the battery is empty.
The function is already being used to keep Find My and the NFC chip working. The iPhone then keeps a very small amount of the battery charge as a reserve. This feature has been there since the iPhone XR and iPhone XS.
Now it seems that Apple has added a feature in iOS 18. If the battery of the iPhone 15 is almost empty, you will still see the time in the top left corner.
At the moment, the feature only seems to work on the iPhone 15 models. Unfortunately, the function did not work on an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is unknown why this feature does not work on older iPhones. Apple may add it, as iOS 18 is still in beta at the moment.
This is iOS 18
At WWDC 2024, Apple announced iOS 18! In addition to being able to read the time on the iPhone 15 when the battery is empty, there are more new features coming to Apple’s smartphone.
It works thanks to the introduction of Apple Intelligence even the largest iPhone update ever, in which almost every app is expanded with new functions. Are you curious about what changes on your iPhone? Then read the article below.
