Project Palladium: new Tesla Model S and Model X on the way

The Tesla Model S is not exactly young anymore, which means that Elon Musk and his companions have been developing a new one for some time. The normally well-informed website Electrek claims to have the first information about the new Model S and the new Model X.

Every Tesla digital fart can count on strong reactions, positive or negative. This time, however, we have an interesting rumor that Electrek helped bring the world into the world. Under the project name Palladium, Tesla would currently be working on thorough renewal for both the Model S and Model X, but what we can expect exactly is still unclear.

It is therefore not clear whether Tesla is working on a completely new generation of both the Model S and the Model X, or whether the brand will carry out a thorough modernization round on the pair. In any case, Tesla would be working on new production lines for the electric pair. Electrek says it has learned from sources that the Model S and Model X will receive new batteries and control modules, which must, among other things, enable the so-called ‘Plaid’ versions of the pair. So versions with not two, but three electric motors. It is not inconceivable that Tesla also makes external changes. Especially for the Model S, that wouldn’t be surprising. Although Tesla has always technically refined the model in recent years, in principle it dates back to 2012.
