Apple has released a new version of iOS 26.0, but the update is only available for the iPhone 17 series. It is a separate build that is specially intended for only the latest pro-Iphhones, so the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The update for iOS 26 comes at a striking moment, because the new iPhones are only just in stores. It is also not known what exactly is in the update, but it could well be that an annoying camera problem is solved. Some reviewers and influencers ran into strange issues while taking photos, including with the iPhone 17 Pro.

Made photos sometimes showed black blocks or strange white twists when you looked at them in the photos app. Something that seems to happen when the lens catches bright LED light.

Apple has now confirmed this problem. Fortunately it only happens in rare cases, but of course it remains very annoying. It is striking that the problem also seems to be happening with the iPhone Air. And that this update for iOS 26 is still available for the PRO models for the time being.

There are now rumors that Apple will soon come up with another update. This will then be iOS 26.0.1. This update will probably be for all iPhones.
