Although the car industry is looking with sorrow at the sales figures this year, there is a boost for Lamborghini. The Italian brand had its best September ever in terms of new cars delivered last month.
2020 will go down as a disastrous year for new car sales, but Lamborghini has had a reason to celebrate several times in a short space of time. The latest boost can be found in the amount of cars that were delivered last month. That was 738. Never before did it reach such a high number in the month of September. Normally not particularly worth mentioning, but given the circumstances it is still a great achievement. For the entire third quarter, this involved 2,083 cars.
As mentioned, this is the third time in a short time that pastry has been served in Sant’Agata Bolognese. In September, the ten thousandth Aventador was also screwed together. Two months earlier, the same milestone was already reached with the much younger Urus. The latter obviously plays a major role in Lamborghini’s remarkably positive results. Never before has a model of the brand been sold as well as the striking SUV. Here in the Netherlands too, it is already the most successful Lamborghini in history with 58 units sold to date.
