With the color of the Formula 1 car
It’s only been three days since Alpine pulled the curtain on the Alpine A110 R, a lightweight version of the A110 with a focus on track use. Nevertheless, the French consider the time ripe for a special version. This is the Alpine A110 R Fernando Alonso, tuned using the man himself, who will drive for the Alpine F1 team through the current season.
The Alpine A110 R Fernando Alonso not only distinguishes itself with externalities from a ‘regular’ A110 R. The two-time world champion from Formula 1, who fills an Alpine seat there for the last time this season, did his pee about the chassis adjustment of the track-oriented sports coupe. That means the 32 lucky ones who manage to get their hands on a Fernando Alonso edition – which Alpine builds nothing more – can find out how Fernando would have wanted the A110 R to behave in the corners.
For the rest, the limited edition technically the same as the rest of the A110 Rs, for which Alpine does not announce a production limit. Alonso not only interfered with the tuning of the car, but also determined – according to Alpine – its color. It had to be the same as that of his current Formula 1 car. Alpine has not held back in further differentiating the Fernando Alonso edition. In contrast to the regular R, the brand sprays part of both the carbon fiber front cover and the rear deck along with the rest of the body. The back of the Fernando Alonso edition is also largely in black.
