Apple comes with iPhone 16 Ultra: this is what it (possibly) looks like

It seems that the iPhone 15 Ultra is probably not coming. The iPhone 16 Ultra will be there, but what will it look like?

iPhone 15 Ultra is not coming anyway

In recent months, rumors have circulated that Apple will launch a more luxurious high-end iPhone this year: the iPhone 15 Ultra. This week, however, Apple analyst Mark Gurman contradicted that, he suspects that Apple will not release an Ultra model until 2024. This means that not an iPhone 15 Ultra, but an iPhone 16 Ultra will appear.

In any case, it is clear that Apple is working on a new high-end iPhone. The iPhone Ultra will probably be made of a different material than we are currently used to. Earlier rumors pointed to a titanium iPhone, which will make the iPhone Ultra look like the Apple Ultra Watch. What should we imagine here?

First iPhone 16 Ultra concept: titanium case

Designer Jonas Daehnert has now made a first concept for the iPhone 16 Ultra. He combined the design of the Apple Watch Ultra with the design of an iPhone. This is not yet based on leaks, but purely on the basis of the two designs. The concept therefore gives a first idea of what we can expect from the Ultra.

The design of the Apple Watch Ultra is clearly reflected in the design of the iPhone Ultra. The rounded corners, orange action button and buttons resemble those of the most expensive Apple Watch ever. It is also striking that the camera lenses no longer protrude enormously in the concept of the iPhone Ultra, which corresponds to the properties of a periscope lens.

Unclear when the Ultra will appear

The Apple experts are not yet in agreement about when the new high-end iPhone will appear. With Apple Reality launching this year, other devices are unlikely to receive major updates in 2023. Therefore, it is quite possible that Gurman is right and an iPhone 16 Ultra will appear next year.
