Apple is coming on Tuesday with 8 new products
The iPhone 17 event on Tuesday 9 September starts at 7 p.m. Dutch time. The event is streamed live on the website of Applebut you can also just view it via iPhoned. These are the 8 products that Apple will probably present!
1 to 4. IPhone 17 series
The iPhone 17 series gets a major update and a whole new model is added. We list some highlights of all models for you:
- iPhone 17: larger screen, 24-megapixel selfie camera, promotion and always-on screen, and more.
- iPhone 17 Air: Ultradun design with a 6.6-inch screen, an A19 chip, a single camera on the back, and more.
- iPhone 17 Pro: New design of the camera island, A19 Pro chip, 24-megapixel camera on the front, 48-megapixel counting camera, and more.
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: All functions of the iPhone 17 Pro, plus a thicker design for a longer battery life.
5. Apple Watch Series 11
One of the 8 new products that Apple will present is the Apple Watch Series 11. The Apple Watch Series 10 received a major update last year. In comparison, the Apple Watch Series 11 will only receive a moderate update this year. These are the improvements we expect:
- Faster S-series Chip for improved performance and efficiency.
- New modem with 5G support for faster performance.
- The same design and the same dimensions as the series 10.
Apple is also working on a blood pressure measurement function for the Apple Watch, but it is not clear whether that function is ready on time.
6. Apple Watch Ultra 3
The Apple Watch Ultra has not had a major update since the launch in 2023. That will change this year. These are the upgrades we expect for the Apple Watch Ultra 3:
- A slightly larger screen of 422 x 514 pixels (the current screen has 410 x 502 pixels). The housing itself probably remains the same, the larger screen is made possible by narrower edges.
- Satellite connection for when WiFi and mobile connections are out of reach.
- New S11 chip for faster performance.
- 5G connection for more speed.
The function for blood pressure measurement may also come to the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
7. Apple Watch SE 3
A new Apple Watch SE is also one of the 8 new products that Apple will present. The most affordable Apple Watch from Apple will receive an update for the first time since 2022 this year. These are the updates we expect for the Apple Watch SE 3:
- A new design with a housing of aluminum (or perhaps plastic).
- New chip for faster performance.
- Larger screens of approximately 1.6 inches and 1.8 inches, similar to those of the Apple Watch Series 7, 8 and 9.
8. Airpods Pro 3
We also expect Apple to introduce the long -awaited AirPods Pro 3. Initially there were rumors that they would not be on the market until 2026, but it seems that they will be appearing on September 9 anyway.
- New H3 chip with improved noise reduction, audio quality, and more.
- Heart rate sensor for monitoring your heart rate during training sessions.
- Smaller charging case with a touch sensitive button instead of a physical button.
And maybe also …
According to several sources, all the above products will be announced in September. There are also rumors that Apple has even more products in the pipeline. They could also be announced in September, but it may also be that they will only be on the market later this year. It concerns these 4 products:
- AirTag 2: Improved chip for a larger reach and accurate search, improved privacy protection.
- New Apple TV 4K: Faster chip, designed by Apple WiFi and Bluetooth chip.
- HomePod Mini 2: Apple designed by Apple, support for WiFi 6th.
- New Apple Vision Pro: new M4 or M5 chip, more comfortable headband, improved neural engine for better Apple Intelligence.
