E7 Flow sit-stand desk: take your workplace to a higher level
If you sit behind a desk a lot, sooner or later you will suffer from a stiff back. This is often accompanied by tired shoulders and a feeling of sluggishness. A sit-stand desk helps you vary your working position a little more, without having to take breaks all the time.

In addition, it is nice that you can easily adjust the height of these types of desks. There is of course a ‘right’ height for your desk, but sometimes it is just nice to have your desk just a little higher or a little lower.
The E7 Flow from Flexispot is such a sit-stand desk. It is the latest version of the E7 series. This agency has a suggested retail price of 799.99 euros. But there is now a promotion running until February 1. You will then receive a 28 percent (220 euros) discount and then only pay 579.99 euros. Be quick, because OP = OP.
Assembly: it goes better with two people
The assembly of the E7 Flow is quite simple and all screws and plugs are neatly divided into different bags. But sometimes you have to look twice at where exactly everything should go. The construction drawings look a bit unclear here and there. It is also useful to grab a cordless drill. Then screwing goes a little faster.
By the way, you don’t have to drill any holes. These are all already pre-drilled in the top. The parts all feel rock solid (but some parts are quite heavy). That is why it is useful to call in an extra pair of hands during installation.

The E7 Flow also comes with a power strip with space for six devices. You can neatly hide all cables via the cable duct under the desk. In addition, a cable duct is included that you can attach to one of the legs to hide the cables there.
Once you have done that, the desk will look very neat and tidy. It took us about 45 minutes to unpack all the parts and assemble the desk completely. But a talented do-it-yourselfer can certainly do it a lot faster.

Sturdy, quiet and strong
When you sit down at the E7 Flow, you immediately notice that the desk is very sturdy. We tried shaking the table top back and forth, but that had little effect. And that’s good! Because you want a sturdy desk. Even at maximum standing height (1m30), the desk remained quite solid, without the excessively wobbly feeling that you get with some cheaper models.
This is also evident from the official capacity of this agency. It can carry up to 180 kilograms. That is more than enough for a heavy monitor (plus arm), a desktop, a printer, some speakers and anything else you want to park at your workplace. But even if we sat on the desk ourselves, it could still be raised quite effortlessly.

The adjustment is quick and smooth. The desk can be raised or lowered up to 50 mm per second and is also very quiet. So you can easily adjust your desk during a call.
It is also useful that you can fix four positions. You only have to press the button once and the E7 Flow will automatically go to the set height. The screen is clearly legible and there is a USB-C port on the side of the control panel. This means you can easily charge your iPhone or Mac, among other things.
Desktop: beautiful, but prone to stains
The worktop is beautifully finished with a beveled edge. The whole thing also looks very sleek. But it is a pity that you see spots very quickly on this sheet. You will probably notice this especially with the (dark) gray version of the table top. The white leaves will be less affected by this.
You don’t easily see scratches, but our model did sustain some minor damage during assembly. Although we were quite careful during the assembly process. It is not the case that you immediately see scratches by moving a cup, but we would not just put a bunch of keys on the desk.

Conclusion: review E7 Flow
The E7 Flow is an excellent sit-stand desk. It is very stable, nice and quiet during adjustment and has an extremely good lifting force. The editing can sometimes be a bit unclear, but is easy to do with a second person. The worktop looks nice, but the black top is sensitive to stains. Nevertheless, with the E7 Flow you get a desk that you can use for years to come.
Do you want to spend a little less? Then the E7 Pro (from 599.98 euros) is also a good choice. Compared to the E7 Pro, the difference is mainly in the built-in cable management, the finish of the worktop and the power strip. The E7 Flow and the E7 Pro have the same load capacity, the same height range and the same lifting speed. And until February 1, you will also receive a discount at this agency. It is now 469.98 euros (with a chipboard top).
