If you have a YouTube channel in which you regularly share videos about a certain topic, you can add your own watermark to your videos. You don’t just do that because of copyright; by clicking on this mark, the viewer can subscribe to your channel. Here’s how to add watermark to YouTube videos.
YouTube Studio
Make sure you’re signed in to YouTube and click on your profile picture. Make sure you’re on the correct channel you want to associate the watermark with, as this badge will appear on all videos from this channel. You can also switch accounts in this menu.
After selecting the correct channel, go to your profile picture again and open YouTube Studio. This online app has several features hidden in the bar on the left. By default you come in the Dashboard and there click on the magic wand icon: To adjust.

That’s how you get to the window Adjust channel with three tabs. You have the tab branding necessary. For example, here you can select a banner image that will appear at the top of your channel. That gives a professional impression. However, we are mainly talking about the function Video watermark.
YouTube specifies the properties of such a watermark. This is an image of 150 × 150 pixels. That is small, but of course the logo should not disturb the video experience. In addition, it must be a png, jpg, bmp or gif file. Gif animations don’t work and the file must be a maximum of 1 MB.
So you have to make this graphic file beforehand in some (online) editor. You can also use the Paint program that comes with every Windows computer.
Start time
The watermark will appear in the lower right corner on all videos from this channel. And in the next window you can specify when it appears. There are three options: End of video, Custom start time, Full Video.
If you Custom start time If you choose this option, a counter will appear in which you indicate at which second the watermark should appear. You will also find the buttons here to select another graphic file and to remove the watermark. click on To publish and finished.
