New iPads and MacBooks will arrive in March

Below we provide a brief overview of which iPads and MacBooks you can expect soon (so sometime at the end of March).

iPad Air

A new iPad Air with a 12.9-inch screen is coming. In addition, the 10.9-inch model will also receive an update. According to rumors, the iPad Air will have an M2 chip and a different camera (island) on the back. There will also be support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Other than that, no major changes are expected.

iPad Pro

The 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro are probably the first iPads to have an OLED screen. This improves the brightness of the iPad a lot, with more powerful colors and better contrast. In addition, the screen also consumes a lot less power.

Furthermore, it is expected that these new iPads will receive a better ProMotion in March. The refresh rate of the screen can then be slightly lower, which also benefits the battery life of the iPad.

MacBook Air

The current 13-inch and 15-inch MacBooks Air were not released at the same time. According to rumors, Apple wants to do that differently this time. Both laptops will then receive an update in March.

MacBook Air 2023 M3

The most important new feature of the MacBook Air is the M3 chip. This chip is of course a lot faster, but it also has a few interesting functions for gamers on board. The M3 chip has support for ray tracing and mesh shading. This ensures better performance in games and better lighting effects, reflections and shadows.

Furthermore, not many new features are expected for the new MacBooks. They will probably have support for WiFi 6E, just like the other Macs.
