KPN Multisim is now available. This allows you to link an Apple Watch to your phone subscription. You can then always call and use the internet with your Apple Watch without having to have your iPhone with you.
KPN Multisim now available: call everywhere with Apple Watch Cellular (4G)
An Apple Watch with 4G is ideal for athletes such as runners and cyclists. The smartwatch can track your data and tells you everything about your speed, heart rate and more. Yet you often still have to have your iPhone in your pocket. For example, to remain accessible on the road or to be able to stream music.
With KPN Multisim you can now leave your iPhone at home. You can then remain available on your Apple Watch Cellular, make calls and listen to the latest Spotify hits. But you do need a special subscription for that.

At KPN you can now take out a special Multisim subscription for your Apple Watch. This costs five euros per month and is in addition to your KPN subscription. NB! You then share your data bundle (and the calling minutes) between your Apple Watch and iPhone.
There are a few rules of the game. KPN indicates that you cannot call abroad, because Multisim does not work there. In addition, you need at least an iPhone 8 and iOS 16.1. You also need an Apple Watch Series 4 Cellular or better to make calls with watchOS 9.1.
Don’t have an Apple Watch with 4G yet? Then KPN also has a nice offer where you can buy an Apple Watch with KPN Multisim.
Recognize Apple Watch 4G
Already have an Apple Watch, but not sure if this is a Cellular (4G) version? No worries. You just have to take a look at the Digital Crown. You can recognize a Cellular Apple Watch by the red ring or dot on the dial.
Multisim: at KPN and T-Mobile
In the Netherlands, Multisim for the Apple Watch is fairly new, but abroad 4G in combination with the Apple Watch has been possible for some time. In Belgium, this has been possible since the end of 2020, via Telenet. In the Netherlands, T-Mobile was the first to offer an Apple Watch with 4G and Multisim in 2021, but more and more providers are now being added!
