Lamborghini SCV12 in the picture

Lamborghini is expanding its line-up this year with an exclusive track toy bearing the SCV12 name. Lamborghini has unveiled a new image of that extreme Italian.

Lamborghini will conjure the SCV12 out of the hat this year, an extreme tear nose based on the Aventador with which you can indulge yourself purely on your own terrain or on the track. Lamborghini has already shown a series of photos of the extremist, although the car on those snapshots was still covered with a psychedelic sticker sheet. Earlier this month, Techzle was able to exclusively show a set of patent plates of the SCV12 and now Lamborghini itself is releasing new footage of the SCV12.

Although the SCV12 in the new photo is still in a dimly lit garage, it is clear that the stunner of the track is dotted with straight lines and razor-sharp corners. Lamborghini previously indicated that all wings, lips, splitters and spoilers provide more downward pressure than the spoiler work of a GT3 racer. Like many things, the complete chassis of the SCV12 is made of carbon fiber. The heavy-looking Italian gets, his name gives it away, of course, a V12 behind the front seats. That mighty twelve-cylinder is most likely a derivative of the 6.5 V12 from the Aventador. The power of the SCV12 will be just above 830 hp. A big difference with the Aventador: where that Lamborghini success number is always four-wheel drive, the more than 800 horses in the SCV12 are completely released on the rear axle via a sequential six-speed gearbox.

The SCV12 will be introduced to the world this summer.
