Flighty takes stress away from flying
Whether you are going on a holiday in the sun for the first time or regularly making business trips; no one wants to hassle with their flight. With that in mind, Flighty has appeared on the App Store. The app lets you add unlimited flights, after which you immediately see how many days a flight is, what the difference in time zone is and more.
You simply add flights by entering the flight number or airport where you depart and choosing the correct date. Flighty then automatically keeps track of all information about your flight, including delays or gate changes, for example.
This is in a simple and beautifully designed jacket, where your planned flights are clearly visible on a world map. In addition, the app offers the possibility to check in online immediately and you can synchronize your agenda with it.
From 25 hours before your flight departs, that aircraft is already closely monitored. For example, does the previous scheduled flight have problems or delays? Then Flighty will inform you in advance that this may also have an effect on your trip.
Not free, but no downside
But if you want to receive such notifications, the app is no longer completely free. Because for most of the features that make this app so useful, you have to pay. Only adding and tracking your flights in the app is free, predicting delays and other functions are not. It is possible to take out a monthly subscription of 8.99 euros per month or to subscribe for a whole year. Then you pay 49.99 euros.
If you are going to make a world trip in a few months in which you fly regularly, then the monthly option is perfect. For example, if you have to make regular air travel throughout the year for work, the annual option is ideal. Still, that’s not a big minus for this app.
