Make browsing through Google search results easier by only asking for results in Dutch.
Dutch sites
Google adapts the search results to the user. For example, results often come from the environment when you are looking for a restaurant or a DIY company. Sometimes there are also websites in other languages between the hits. If you are not interested in this, adjust the Google settings. This is how it works:
- Open the website www.google.nl
- Type a search query.
- Press the Enter key.
- Search results appear. Click the button below the search bar Tools.
- Below that bar are some options. click on Any language.
- click on Pages written in Dutch.
Google adjusts the results so that only Dutch websites are listed. Repeat these actions every time you want to see only Dutch results. Google does not show the search results in the same order on all computers. If you search on another computer for a site that you previously found in a certain position, that site may suddenly appear in a different place in the matches.
Only sites with .nl
It is also possible to only see hits from sites ending in ‘.nl;’. Then, in addition to the keywords, also type the following in the search bar: site:.nl (site, colon, period, nl). Google only shows the sites that end with this country code.
