Remove irritating spots from your iPhone photos: this is how you do it!

With Snapseed, retouching issues like this is a breeze. Still, you need to know where the function is in the app. Snapseed has quite a lot of functions to edit photos. To remove stains in the app, use the ‘Equalize’ function. Follow this step-by-step plan to retouch your photo.

  1. Open Snapseed and tap the screen;

  2. Tap ‘Open from device’;

  3. Choose a photo to edit;

  4. Tap ‘Tools’ at the bottom;

  5. Choose ‘Equalize’;

  6. Zoom in on the photo;

  7. Swipe or tap with your finger on the stain you want to remove;

  8. Tap the checkmark at the bottom right and ‘Export’;

  9. Choose ‘Save’ and ‘Edit’.

The final result is saved in your photo library. By choosing ‘Save’ in Snapseed (and not ‘Export’), the changes you have made can always be undone. You have to open the photo again in Snapseed.

How to Remove Spots on iPhone Photos on Mac

You don’t need any additional apps on the Mac. The Photos app has a retouch feature built in. On a Mac, do the following:

  1. Open the Photos app on your Mac;
  2. Double click on the photo you want to edit;
  3. Click on ‘Edit’ at the top right;
  4. Zoom in on your photo;
  5. Click on ‘Retouch’ and on the brush below;
  6. Adjust the size of the brush with the slider;
  7. Click on the spot and draw over it;
  8. Click ‘Done’ to save the updated photo.
