Accidentally clicked away a web page that is still needed? You do not need to re-enter the address. Get a closed tab back in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari.
Tab closed, now what?
Switching between multiple tabs is very convenient. In the internet browser you can easily keep one website open while you continue your search on another site. Close a tab again with the cross. Do you accidentally close a tab that is actually still needed? Don’t worry, this is very easy to retrieve.
Quick Tab Retrieve
There is a quick option that works in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari! Use a key combination for this. On Chrome, Firefox and Edge, it’s Ctrl+Shift+T.In Safari there is no ctrl key, but there is a Cmd key. So there applies Cmd+Shift+T.
It goes like this:
- On the keyboard, press Ctrl+Shift+T(Cmd+Shift+T on Safari). Press and hold the Ctrl key with your left hand first. Then, also with the left hand, press and hold the Shift key. Finally, press the T button with your right hand and release. Then release Ctrl and Shift as well.
Tip: Repeat this option if necessary, so that not only the previous closed tab opens, but also the one before that, and so on.
