According to new rumors, Apple is going to tinker with the design of the new iPhone SE. The iPhone SE 4 gets the appearance of the iPhone XR.
iPhone SE 4 gets appearance from iPhone XR
There have been rumors for some time that Apple will base the look of the iPhone SE on the iPhone XR, but now well-known YouTuber Jon Prosser is also giving his opinion. In his most recent video, he shows renders of the new iPhone SE 4. You will immediately see the familiar look of the iPhone XR.
New chip and better camera
He also leaves in the middle what will change under the hood. He does expect that the iPhone SE 4 will get an A16 Bionic chip. This super-fast chip is currently only available in the iPhone 14 Pro (from € 1,329) and the iPhone 14 Pro Max (from € 1,479). He also thinks that the camera will get some improvements, but that not much will change.
iPhone SE 4 colors
You probably also know the colors of the iPhone SE 2023, because not much will change there. The iPhone SE 2022 was available in red, black and white. The iPhone SE 4 will also be for sale again in these colors.
No Touch ID, but Face ID
By adjusting the appearance of the iPhone SE 4, it means that Touch ID will now disappear. The new budget iPhone will then receive Face ID for the first time (and the associated notch at the top of the screen). You also get a much larger screen than is now the case with the iPhone SE 3.
iPhone SE: popular smartphone
According to Prosser, the iPhone SE doesn’t sell as well as the iPhone 13 or the iPhone 12, for example, but it will be one of the best-selling smartphones in 2022. So it’s not surprising that Apple continues to make the iPhone SE series.
