A few years ago, Apple started production of their own chips for their devices, the so -called Apple Silicon. On Mac, we said goodbye to the Intel processors and in the iPhone the arm processors were replaced by Apple Silicon.

After years of development, Apple has now also unveiled their own modem, which has been named C1. The new Apple C1 replaces the Qualcomm modemchips that were used for the mobile dataonectivity of the iPhone. The new iPhone 16th is the first device that Apple has equipped with the C1 chip. The chip is also part of the Apple Silicon Chip.
