Where ChatGPT can do all kinds of things with texts, Midjourney does that with photos. That AI can even show you what your children will look like – and that works surprisingly well

Midjourney is perhaps the most advanced photo AI yet. You only have to fill in a description of a photo or work of art, and the image will be created within half a minute. The end result often looks very impressive.
One of the nicest exclusive features of Midjourney is Blend. The AI then mixes two photos together. For example, if you have a photo of your dog and a photo of an alpaca, Midjourney can create an incredibly cute (and crazy) mashup make of.
But the function goes much further. Combine a photo of yourself with one of your partner, and you will get an idea of what your children could look like.
Blend function
- Open Midjourney
- Open one of the newcomer rooms and enter as command /blend in
- Press on the spacebar, and you can drag two images to the window. Drag a photo of yourself to one box and a photo of your partner to the other box. Press send
After a while your mix will appear in the long list of generated images. The mix is still mature. That’s because there are only two images of adults combined. With the following steps you can turn it into a child – again with Midjourney:
- You will see four variations of the mix – choose one. With the YOUbuttons, you then make a sharper version of them (U1 is top left, U2 is top right, etc.).
- Click on the sharper version, choose Open in browser and copy the link at the top of the screen.
- Then enter a new command: /imagine with the link you just copied behind it. Then put it there baby, child or something similar behind. You will then see how you mashup would look like as a child.
