BMW is not averse to daring designs. The iX is a strikingly designed electric SUV and front cars such as the 4-series, 7-series and X7 have very heavy fences. The BMW X7 will soon get a facelift, but the SUV does not sacrifice anything in terms of optical stubbornness. On the contrary! This first leaked image of the renewed BMW X7 clearly shows which face the SUV will face in the coming years.
The BMW X7 that hit the market in 2018 was great in every way. Not only are the exterior dimensions, the dimensions of the kidney grille don’t exactly fall into the ‘subtle’ category either. Anyone who is not a fan of that will not suddenly find the facelifted variant of BMW’s competitor the Mercedes-Benz GLS a beautiful model. Anyone who is a fan of the eccentric BMW design should pay extra attention. On Cochespias.net and IXForums.com, among others, a first image of the renewed X7, a car that looks even bolder than the current model.

BMW does not change the dimensions and design of the grille, but the rest of the X7 front will be completely overhauled. The facelifted X7 gets lighting spread over two layers as you see more and more on cars these days. High in the front are flat units that house the LED daytime running lights. One floor below are the actual headlights. The L-shaped LED daytime running lights seem to be a reference to the well-known BMW lighting consisting of two – now often half-rings.

That the X7 gets this front is actually no surprise. Several times, packed test copies showed up that already showed something of their new face. In addition, the BMW XM, the final production version of the Concept XM, will also receive a similar front. BMW even seems to give the upcoming new 7-series and its electric i7 variant a muzzle with viewers spread over two floors.
