Apple is rated ‘poor’: these are the 10 most striking complaints

Apple receives so many complaints on Trustpilot that the company only gets 1.9 out of 5 stars and a ‘Poor’ rating. Read with us what people have to complain about Apple.

Apple is rated ‘poor’

We wonder whether Trustpilot lives up to its name. It is quite striking that practically all major tech companies do not get further than a measly 2 stars. This does not alter the fact that these are real reviews, from real people.

Apple also receives some pretty serious complaints every now and then. We won’t show you the most intense ones here, but we have put together a selection of slightly less severe ones. If you want to read all the reviews, you can do so on the website from Trustpilot. But be warned!

Always bullshit

Always bullshit, I have a MacBook and IMac, you can no longer update it after 5-7 years. Certain sites no longer load, I can no longer download apps and Apple’s service does not work at all. Contacted so many times due to issues but it was never resolved. Don’t hesitate, don’t buy.

Verification too complicated!

I’m calling Apple because I lost my phone. Then I found my phone. I get that whining all the time with that verification. Because I am registered with my old number from my previous subscription. The gentleman says that it may take 7-30 days before I can access my iCloud normally again. I hate APPLE for this kind of thing. All that complicated stuff! I passed on my old number, logged in to my iCloud, passed on my new number… NOTHING IS GOOD ENOUGH!

Krapple

This brand has deteriorated significantly in recent years. Tim Cook should simply resign. Since he’s been there it’s been a real disaster. New OS doesn’t work with music at all, because iTunes has disappeared and you can no longer put it on your Mac. I can’t get music on my iPhone, something I’ve never experienced before. I don’t know what Apple is doing, but in my opinion this company is out of date. Just like Nokia in those times, it has simply fallen far. Unfortunately, there is no good successor yet.

Devices manipulated by Apple?

How is it possible that all my Apple devices have more and more issues over time? Like the airpods. Now 4 years old, but every time I want to go running I have problems connecting to the phone. Can’t be a coincidence. Just like iMacs that at some point develop so many issues that you simply can no longer use them normally. They just manipulate your devices after a few years until you get so annoyed with them and then go buy a new one. I am 100% convinced of this. No more Apple for me!!!!

Apple hasn’t been what it used to be for 10 years…

Apple hasn’t been what it used to be for 10 years. You buy apps that suddenly disappear or are no longer supported. There is no control at all over your purchased products. The customer loses out. Apple only thinks about profit. If old IMac computers still work fine, Apple ensures that the system no longer connects, so that you are forced to buy new ones. So I don’t do that! In this day and age of reducing waste and being sustainable, this is a very bad thing and example Apple! But Apple doesn’t care about that, in fact, they continue unabated with this form of miss management, there is apparently no government control over Apple. Sad, very sad.

Never apple again… you can’t do anything with it…

Never use Apple again. You can’t do anything with it. Everything is shielded. Batteries are bad. And you lose everything.
If you have photos you can’t use them. Far too expensive and dated. Poor service. Cancellation of subscription is difficult to find and they do that on purpose.

Black spots on Macbook pro screen, my problem?!

I have a MacBook Pro worth €2000 from 2016. I get black spots on the screen and I searched the internet to find out what this is. It appears to be a hardware error from Apple. They subsequently set up a service program for this, but my laptop is just outside the scope, due to the expiration date!! An error by Apple itself and I will soon be left with a written-off laptop while everything else still works fine… I had a laptop from Microsoft before, never had any problems and excellent service! It would be nice if they came up with a suitable solution.

Apple receives many similar complaints

Many of the complaints that Apple receives are about devices that are relatively old, about the security measures that Apple uses and about the high prices. Although the complaints are often understandable, in many cases Apple is not really doing anything wrong. At the same time, there is of course always room for improvement.

Moreover, people who have complaints are more likely to post a review than people who are satisfied. The result is quickly a website with predominantly negative reviews. And of course Trustpilot can’t do anything about that.
