The Shark CryoGlow Cooling & LED Face Mask that was introduced at CES 2025 is certainly a striking appearance. The device uses 160 so-called tri-wick LEDs to provide the skin with a light treatment. The InstaChill technique in the cheek area provides a satisfying cooling effect. Shark claims that the mask, among other things, prevents aging. The CryoGlow costs $349.

Kirin Electric Salt Spoon

salt spoon

This unique gadget is officially called the Kirin Electric Salt Spoon and uses a weak electric shock to make your food taste saltier. The idea is that you can use less salt but still get the same taste you are used to. The electric salt spoon has four levels of ‘saltiness’ or electrical current. You could try out the Krin Electric Salt Spoon at CES 2025, but the spoon is already too big buy. Although only in Japan and you also have to pay 100 dollars for it.

Base Case

Imagine turning your suitcase into a multi-monitor workstation in seconds. That’s the idea behind the Base Case. Available in black or white, this case contains two 24-inch screens and extendable 10-inch legs so you can use your laptop underneath. The displays have a refresh rate of 75 Hz and offer up to 350 nits of brightness.

Base Case has plenty of ports to connect your laptop, including HDMI, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, Ethernet, and even USB-A. No pricing has been announced yet, but this mobile workstation on wheels probably won’t be cheap.

Tonal 2

tonal 2

Tonal 2 is a complete but pricey smart home gym, with improved hardware compared to its predecessor. This second version has a better camera that uses AI to analyze 500 data points per second and an improved adaptive weight system. The latter can now let users lift up to 250 pounds. Tonal 2 also comes with new Aero HIIT workouts that you can follow to combine cardio and strength training, something the first generation trainer doesn’t offer.

Tonal 2 costs $3995. This price does not include the $60 per month subscription.

LiberLive C1

CES 2025

During CES 2025 you could also try out the LiberLive C1. That is a smart stringless and foldable guitar that weighs only 3.9 kilos. If you are starting out with an instrument for the first time, the C1 is a great educational tool. Each fret button plays a chord and the LED indicators on the neck indicate the tempo and key.

Additionally, MicroDAW sampling synthesis technology and the ability to layer multiple custom instruments give you plenty of creative versatility. The LiberLive C1 costs $499.

Roborock Saros Z70

CES 2025

In general, robot vacuum cleaners avoid small obstacles, but the Roborock Saros Z70 clears them for you. This is possible thanks to an extendable arm with a claw at the end. There are still some limitations to what the arm can pick up. With a maximum weight of 300 grams, it cannot pick up most shoes, but a pair of flip-flops will probably still work. The price of the Saros Z70 has not yet been announced.

Razer Project Arielle

ces 2025

The Razer Project Arielle is a gaming chair with RGB lights, but the most special thing about it is the built-in heating and cooling. The chair has an integrated blowerless fan at the back that heats the air around you by 2 °C or cools it down to 30 °C.

Both temperature mode and fan speed are controlled by a touch-sensitive controller on the side of the seat. For the time being it is a concept chair, so it is not yet certain whether the Razer Project Arielle actually comes onto the market.

Tombot Jennie

Jennie from Tombot is a robot dog based on a 12-week-old Labrador puppy, which was understandably very popular at CES 2025. The robot dog is designed to be the perfect companion for the elderly who cannot care for a live dog. Jennie responds to voice commands, knows where and how she is touched or petted and even wags her tail like a real dog. There’s also a companion app to adjust her settings and give this robot dog its own unique name. The price of Tombot Jennie is not yet known.
