Electric Vinfast VF8 more than €3,000 less expensive

The Dutch prices of the Vietnamese Vinfast VF8 have been adjusted downwards, AutoWeek can report. The electric Vinfast VF8 will be more than 3 grand less expensive. The price drop not only applies to the entry-level Eco version, but also to the stronger and more spacious Vinfast VF8 Plus.

To date, the Vinfast VF8 had a starting price of €53,900 in the Netherlands. For that amount you got the 354 hp Vinfast VF8 Eco, complete with 87.7 kWh battery and a range of 471 kilometers. The Vinfast VF8 Eco is now €3,210 less expensive and is now listed for €50,690.

The Vinfast VF8 Plus will also become less expensive. This is the 408 hp variant of the VF8. Until now, it was in the order books for €59,790, but can now be taken home from €56,690. The price drop is €3,100. The Vinfast VF8 Plus has the same battery as the Eco, but with a range of 457 kilometers it has a slightly shorter range. The Plus variant is not only more powerful, but also more spacious than the Vinfast VF8 Eco. The VF8 Plus has, among other things, a panoramic roof and more extensively adjustable seats with ventilation function.

The option to purchase a Vinfast VF8 through a construction in which you rent the battery pack was canceled last year.
