The fourth edition of Honda Adventure Roads kicks off on May 10 in the Atlantic port city of Agadir, where 30 riders from 11 different nationalities will test their riding skills on a unique African coast-to-coast adventure through the Moroccan landscape, culminating in the Mediterranean city nine days later Nador.
The story of Honda Adventure Roads started in 2017 and will continue into 2025 and 2026, with two more events on two different continents. The first Honda Adventure Roads was an epic 8-day, 3,500km journey from Oslo to Nordkapp – the northernmost point in Europe – on the CRF1000L Africa Twin.
The second edition in 2019 saw Africa Twin riders traverse 3,700km of South Africa’s most breathtaking landscapes over 12 days of adventure. The latest chapter of the unique event took place in Iceland in July 2022, where 30 riders were challenged to brave snow-capped mountains, icy river crossings and the toughest weather conditions yet.
The fourth edition will take place in Morocco, where the Honda Adventure Roads riders will once again ride Honda’s showpiece, the CRF1100L Africa Twin. The bikes are equipped with Metzeler Karoo 4 tires and accessories from Honda’s original accessory line and support from selected partners such as Endurisatan, Barkbusters and Alpinestars.
The Honda Adventure Roads tour heads east from Agadir to the dunes of Erg Chebbi at Gara Medouar, through the Atlas Mountains and the exciting Dades Canyon before ending the tour north.
In addition to the breathtaking terrain, dotted with historic mountain passes and stretches of dunes that test endurance, riders will experience Moroccan culture by staying in traditional bivouacs and enjoying Gnaoua music under an African starry sky.
To complete the unique Honda Adventure Roads experience, all participants will be accompanied by members of the Dakar Rally-winning HRC Monster Energy Honda Team, so they can benefit from their expert guidance on all that Morocco has to offer.
